I know I can clip the plastic cable cords with nail clippers...but how am I going to cut the duct tape? Can I board the ship with a swiss knife?? Any suggestions out there?? Thanks.
Duct tape can usually be ripped pretty easily. If not, just clip it with the nail clippers and rip it. I have never had a problem ripping duct tape. They also have duct tape strips. I got mine at WalMart.
you can usually rip duct tape with your fingers. If you can't get it, then just nip the corner with your nail clippers and rip away.
The cruise lines will allow you to bring aboard a swiss army knife. Its the airlines that will not let you carry that on.
Okay, I am laughing! I think you mean tongs, not thongs. I am imagining that teeny little bikini!
Back on topic: We pack a small pair of scissors in the outside pocket of one of the suitcases that we bring. (Not on the carry-on) They can come in so handy during the cruise, too.
Michelle, Why because I sound like I have lost my mind? It took me all afternoon to find my ship. I finally found her in the port at Cozumel. I sure hope we get to go.
Ok... I just have to ask this question .. why would you need duct tape on a cruise? For cabin repairs? To seal your luggage after buying all those things in port? To hide those extra pounds you might gain after one too many midnight buffets?? Sorry... I just have these "unusual" visions in my head now (laughing at many of them)
Carol--I used the duct tape to repair a broken garment bag hanger, repair the suitcase a certain airline broke on the flight down to Florida, used a piece to remove lint from my DH's suit and to to keep close the plastic bag my dirty bathing suit and unmentionables were in.
