OK guys I need your input and experience with Men's formal wear. Is it acceptable to wear an Ivory Dinner/Tux Jacket on a November cruise? D/H has a nice black tux which he looks great in, but since we'll have 3 formal dinners to attend, I thought it might be nice for him to have a different jacket for one of them if we brought it. D/H and I have been dieting with wild abandon over the last few weeks and it may actually fit him for the first time in several years by the time the cruise rolls around.
Actually if he continues to do so well with his weight loss, we'll likely have to get his black tux altered and taken in.
So what do you think? Will the Ivory tux jacket work?
It sure will - it's just as formal as the tux. And he'll look great!
CONGRATS on the diet!!! That's where we are, too.....25 lbs so far for me, and I've still got 15 weigh-ins until we cruise on January 8th! If the holidays weren't in there, I'd have it a lot easier! <G>
I love the coincidence. I tried on my tux, and guess what? It didn't fit. So, I'm also on a diet. I joined Weight Watchers (I don't work for them, this is not an advertisement :-)
I will fit in my tux on January 8, 2006.
Oh by the way, I think an ivory tux would be grand.
Have fun on your cruise.
