Default Walking around with a glass of beer or wine

HI, if I have wine or beer in my cabin is it alright to walk around the boat with a glass. Also, could I carry a glass of wine or beer in to dinner or lunch?

When we were on the Victory I walked around with my glass of wine I got from the wine bar. As for walking into dinner I am not sure but if I had a glass of wine with dinner we took it with us when we left and no one said anything to us.

It is considere impolite to walk around with booze that you have brought onboard with you. I don't think wine really falls in that catogory as many people do carry wine from one area to another but bringing your own brewski around....well, leave it up to you I guess.

If you're going to walk around with it, be sure it's in the kind of glass/plastic that it's served in from the bars.

We have always walked with our wine or drinks we have made in our room. We have taken it into the dining rooms with no problem. No one knows if you purchased it at the bar or brought it from your room. You could have gotten the beer out of your fridg in your cabin and know one knows (or cares) where you got your drink! Go for it!

It's fine -- just be careful, especially in rough water. You may spill your drink.

One cruise I bought a bottle of champagne. They even gave me the ice bucket to take on deck.

One cruise I was buying drinks for several people to take back to a cabin -- the occupants were going to do my hair -- they sent me with my own waitress. When we got on the elevator I joked that this is the what service you get when your bar tab is over $1,000.

If you drink beer like I do you won't bother bringing your own with you. It's much too heavy and cumbersome.

Book me on your next cruise and enjoy your personal punching bag.
