We will be disembarking for the first time at the Los Angeles port on our next trip and were wondering if taxis normally wait for passengers within sight of the pier exits. Or does one have to chase out of the area to flag one down as we've experienced in other some other ports. The San Pedro webpage doesn't indicate where taxi stands might be, just parking lots.
Would appreciate any pertinent information or advice from someone who has come back through San Pedro.
Well organised and good signage taxi lineup right outside the terminal building, to the left.
Rates are pretty well ''monopolistic'' at $45.00/ride, roughly 45 minutes depending on traffic ( In L.A...that means nothing...)
