What is the difference between Carnival (which I have sailed) and NCL?
Just trying to pick the right trip and ship....thanks
p.s. Traveling with DH and son (12). We are looking for a relaxed no frills vacation.
Quite a bit really. It can best be shown and explained by going to the ships reviews area and reading Ms. Campbells reviews. There she explains the basics of the ship and who it is geared to such as level of activities, age group, food, ambiance, servi8ce, etc. Each line is at leas slightly differant than the others and some vastly differant so it is important to choose one that fits what your expectations are so that you enjoy your cruise to the fullest.
I totally agree with Jim, read Anne's reviews, they are full of so much usefull information.
The biggest difference is that NCL has FREESTYLE DINING. No main dining rooms with traditional seatings. You can pick from a fairly wide variety of different restaurants to dine at, some have a cover charge and require reservations, some do not.
