Would like to rent a tux for my husband through RCCL before the cruise. When I reserve the jacket and pants and if the size doesn't fit when we are on the cruise.(never know from brand to brand) will they fit my husband with the correct size? Just wondering if they reserve that size and you are stuck with it.

When you arrange to rent a tuxedo, you provide measurements as well as size if I recall correctly. DH used to rent before we decided it was far more economical (as our cruising habit grew) to buy one.
You really are not renting from the cruise line but from a company that handles tuxedos for Royal Caribbean so if it doesn't fit you should try it as soon as you board. If there is a major problem you could notify your steward and they may be able to put you in touch with someone who could make an alteration. There are people on the ship that do work for the crew and most ships do sell formal wear.
I have done a rental on two occasions to save on packing and on both occasions the tux fit perfectly. I had my measurements done by a professional at a men's store so I knew they were correct when I gave them to the rental company. I suggest that you do the same.

I have rented tuxedo's for my son AFTER we get to the ship. I find it easier to deal with them in person and have never had a problem. Unless you have special size requirements this may be the eaisest way to it. However, if you pre order and have a problem they should be able to correct it on the ship.
On a 12 day cruise will we be able to keep the tux that long?

Yes: The tuxedo can be rented for whatever is the duration of your cruise. The price of the rental will be based on this. The longer you have it the more it will cost.

the key is to go to a local tuxedo rental or tailor, get properly measured, send those measurements in with your rental request. I did not know that you could rent on the ship, we always rent in advance and get a confirmation, one less thing to think about.
