HELP-What cruise ships are good to work on?

Hello everyone :D

I am wanting to start work in cruise ship industry and wanting to know what cruise companies are good to work on. For example decent pay, general atmopshere etc. I am wanting to work in gift shop area (dont have much experience in any other areas) do not have much experience in this area either, but have experience with customers in food and supermarket industry. Am I pursuing something that is out of my reach? All I can say is I am determined. I appreciate any advice.

Sorry if I have posted question in wrong place, am new to site.
Cheers :-P

Hi spiralite,

Try posting your question in the "Crewmembers" section. You'll probably get all kinds of opinions :) !

Good luck in your job search,

Quality of cruise ship jobs are determined mostly by position. Gift shop salesperson is relativelly good position.
Since you are short with experience I don't think you will be able to choose company to work for, but it is not much diference anyway.
All top brand cruise lines have similar working conditions anyway.

Good luck!
