Default Room Location???

Hi All,
First Time Cruiser here. Just a quick question. We booked a balcony Guarantee. I have already received my room assignment and we are on the Panaroma Deck of the Liberty. Is it better to be higher up. We were put in an 8E room. It just seems to me to be really high . Does it make for smoother sailing. Is it windy on the balcony - the room is on the side.
Thanks in advance for the info.

Amanda

Witzend:

You actually have a pretty nice location. Yes it is in a high location but you will be just one level down to the "action". Buffets, pools etc. Plus the views will be great and more private. I think you will like it and it will be quite stable.

If you are on the port side (left side when facing forward) your balcony will be slightly larger than other a number of other cat 8 balconies.

I would take it! It's a nice upgrade.

Take care,
Mike

We sailed the Miracle in Oct. and were upgraded to the Panorma deck. It was great. We only felt a little movement when we went to bed, but just a slight rocking. What a wonderful way to go to sleep. We really like being just 1 floor down from the pools and the buffet. We didn't think it was too windy on the balcony either. I think you got a wonderful upgrade.
ENJOY

Thanks for the response Mike and NikkiY. The cabin assigned is on the port side. I feel a lot better now. I know we will have a great time.
