Default Vacationstogo...

We have several adults and children who will be going on a cruise for the first time...

Does anyone have any opinions about Vacationstogo for booking a cruise? I have talked with a representative from Carnival, but do not feel she is being as helpful as I would like.

I have looked on VTG's website and found that they have the cruise that I am looking for at the same price as Carnival's website. Do you think VTG would be of any more help than Carnival?

ANY info on this would be very appreciated!!

Yes, they most likely would! And their best price isn't listed on their web site, due to Carnival regulations.

Call them and ask for their best price on that cruise!

I haven't used that agency, but know a number of people who use them regularly.

Like Kuki, I know many people who have used them, including my best friend, but my experience with them was less than stellar. Long story short, after not being able to reach my Rep for 5 days, no return calls or emails, and the other reps saying they couldn't help me because they are not allowed to access other reps reservations, I cancelled with them and went back to my regular TA. It wasnt worth the slight savings to not have someone I could depend on.

I have used VTG to book one of their singles cruises and they were great to deal with. All phone calls and emails were promptly returned and docs were sent in a very timely manner
