Default Unable to go to 2 of our 3 Ports...how much credit?

Just wondering we were on the Victory last week,,, and didn't get to stop at 2 of the ports, due to winds....shouldn't we get back all the port charges? We were giving $25 ship credit for each on the ports we missed,,, travel agent says we pay out more for our port charges...help me out here...Thanks

Sorry to hear about your missed ports due to Mother Nature. I don't know if anyone really know how much port charges are for each port. I find they usually average about $100 for 3 ports so $50 each for 2 missed ports might be a little on the low side but at least they acknowledged the problem. Hopefully the rest of your cruise was great.

I don't believe the actual "port charges" would be much more than the $25 they credited you.

After all, depending on the length of the cruise, port charges will vary from around $150 to $250.

A great portion of this is spent in your port of embarkation/debarkation.. related to servicing and supplying the ship, luggage, etc.

These charges are not simly docking fees.
