Hi!
I've been trying to post my photos from the Island Princess and can't get the initial creation of the gallery to take place. Could you please help me?
Hi Shar,
First you need to "create" a gallery, once thats done, simply upload the pictures into the gallery. Just make sure you know where the pictures are on your disk, so you can locate them. Also, make sure they are not too large, I've had that problem in the past too. If you have a specific problem or question, please re-post and we'll try to get it going for you.
Good Morning, Donna!
I go into the Photo Gallery, click on Create a New Gallery, fill in the info and click submit - but nothing happens. I tried it several times last night and just tried again but I can't get beyond the initial page you use to create the gallery. Thanks!
Shar... I had a bit of a similar problem recently. I'm going to take a guess here......
I think the problem could be in what you were trying to name the gallery.
If you use Get Lei'd, for a number in the title, the software doesn't seem to recognize those as valid.
Try it using Shar's Hawaii or Island Pics. (or something like that). Bet it will work, though I can't tell you why.
Hi Shar,
I see that you were able to get pictures in the Gallery Kuki opened for you, great. Hey, where was the "dolphin" picture taken?? That one is beautiful!
Hi Donna!
Thanks! The Hawaiian spinner dolphin picture was taken along the Na Pali coast of Kauai on our NaPali Expedition tour (ship tour). I still can't do much with the gallery, it won't let me in to post comments or re-position the sideways photos. When I click to make changes, I just get a blank screen.
Thanks to Kuki for getting the folder open so I could put in the photos. I still have lots more, but hate to post them if I can't include the comments.
I'll keep trying - maybe it'll work better if I use a different computer.
Shar - sorry you are having so many problems. What happens when you try to post comments? Sometimes the problem s are sporadic and it is frustrating. Try making your comments shorter, sometimes that helps.
Kuki:
Believe me, they pictures are in the correct position before I forward them. As soon as they post, they get twisted back to their original position. Thanks anyway!
OK Everyone - I think I figured out the problem. Evidently the application on my computer wasn't saving the changes when I rotated the pictures. Duhh...
Is there a way to shift the photos positions in the gallery or will I need to repost everything? Thanks!
There is no way to shift the pics in the gallery. You will need to delete those sideways and upload them again. All photos that are correct can be left so you do not have to start over.
