Default Passports...Silly question?

Hi all,

Finally got a passport 2 yrs. ago, its a bit of a process but I'm so glad I did it with the new regulations coming in next year. My question is probably more for the ladies (please don't laugh)! What if you change your haircolor? I hope that you don't have to take a new picture and do the whole thing all over again. Since passports are good for 10 yrs, how does that work? I confess, been coloring for years but thinking of "going natural" or at least maybe lighter. I've just had it the same for so long, that I don't have a clue....will they still know its me? Thanks & Happy sails.

Your hair color change will not make a difference. I know a woman who's hair color has changed and it hasn't affected her travel one bit.

BTW: That woman is my wife.

The passport folks look at eye spacing, shape of face and other features. Hair color is not a major factor.

Take care,
Mike

Thanks so much Mike! This is my first passport, so I wasn't sure how that went. I'd be snow white if it wasn't for good old Clairol....and I've been getting tired of the touch-ups for awhile, so I might try something different. Women's privilege, right? ! Happy sails........
