Can you take wine and champagne on board? If so is there a corking fee?

You can take wine, champagne, sodas, and water onboard if you like.

If you want the wine/champagne served in the dining room there's a corkage fee. No charge for in cabin consumption.

Thanks for the response. We went on Royal Carribean two summers ago on the Jewel and are going on the Golden Princess to the Greek Isles this summer.

How do the two ships compare and in your opinion is one better than the other?

Now remember.. this is MY opinion

, but since you asked I MUCH prefer the Jewel of the Seas. She's more beautiful! A great size, and much better layout than the Golden.

You're doing a WONDERFUL itinerary, and it should be a fantastic cruise though.

In comparing, the only things I'd give the Golden a large edge on, is food quality.... and the advantage of Personal Choice (Anytime Dining).

On the itin that you're doing, I'd HIGHLY recommend taking advantage and doing PC. No rushing to dinner after long day port days!
