Default Jewel of the Seas vs. Golden Princess

We went on Royal Carribean two summers ago on the Jewel of the Seas and are going on the Golden Princess to the Greek Isles this summer.

How do the two ships compare and in your opinion is one better than the other?

I answered this already in your other thread, but since I'm here

Now remember.. this is MY opinion , but since you asked I MUCH prefer the Jewel of the Seas. She's more beautiful! A great size, and much better layout than the Golden.

You're doing a WONDERFUL itinerary, and it should be a fantastic cruise though.

In comparing, the only things I'd give the Golden a large edge on, is food quality.... and the advantage of Personal Choice (Anytime Dining).

On the itin that you're doing, I'd HIGHLY recommend taking advantage and doing PC. No rushing to dinner after long day port days!

Default Jewel of the Seas vs. Golden Princess

Ok, now you have me a little worried....Other than the asthetics is there anything else that made a big difference. The Jewel was a beautiful ship with all the glass and open atrium.

We chose PC dining and it will be nice not to have to rush back and go to dinner.

Having sailed on both ships, I highly recommend Jewel of the Seas. The Radiance Class ships are the most beautiful in my opinion. Every time I think of Golden Princess, that frustration surfaces again. That was the most difficult ship to maneuver, IMHO. I was always getting lost on that ship, .
Jewel is a classic.
