Default Reasonable Hotels Near Port In Miami

Hi, I'm looking for a reasonably priced, reasonably nice hotel near the cruise port in Miami. I would like something under $200 that just isn't "scary". thanks!

You have many choices in that price range:

You have: Marriott Biscayne Bay, Doubletree Grand, Radisson Biscayne Bay, Hyatt Downtown, Sheraton Biscayne Bay and the Intercontinental can be had for under $200.

You can also try Priceline and bid a 4* and you will most certainly get a good hotel for well under that amount.

Current bids show that the 4* Hyatt is going for around $90 and 3* Radisson is going for about $80. (For March stays. It also depends on when you will stay.) The Radisson overlooks the bay and is good for a pre-cruise stay but both need a taxi to get to the ship. The Hyatt has more shopping and "stuff" within walking distance. Both are close to Bayside Marketplace. Actually, all that I listed above are relatively close to Bayside via taxi.

Take care,
Mike

I would suggest using "Priceline" for a hotel near the port in Miami. Here is a link to Kuki's article on using Priceline:
