Default how much time do you get in port?

Do you get to spend much time in the ports you visit?
How mcuh fun is it?
I am so excited about the possibility of working on a cruiseship!! I can't wait to find something!

What port???? When you book your cruise (or actually, even before) you will see the itinerary - this will tell you exactly when the ship docks and when it leaves.

As far as how much fun you will have in port - again, it depends on both the port and you. Some people love beaches, some love other types of excursions - that's why we have chocolate and vanilla.

Your free time in any port of call would be determined by which department you're working in.

If you're cruise staff, or casino staff (for example) you'd have much more time off in port than if you were service staff.

Many of the crew don't get much more time off in ports of call than a few minutes to get off the ship and call home.
