Default should i take 5 kids and wife on princess baltic cruise?

kids ages are: 18, 17, 13, 10, and 4.
im worried that:
1. shore excursions may be too long.
2. no warm weather (usually we do the caribbean)
3. not enough other families and kids to hang out with. (this would probably solve #1 and #2)

thoughts?? im holding a reservation for 2 mini suites on the star princess but dont want to commit so much if it may not work out!!

thanks.

do some research about your ports of call- interesting facts and things to do and see present it to your entire family - get some feedback from everyone, and go from there.

A lot depends on what your kids like to do. I have 4 - ages 21, 18, 14 & 12. The 21 y.o would love it, the other three would hate it. When traveling with the kids we try to stick with itinerarys and shore excursions we know they will all like. We do the ones we want when we travel without the kids.
