Default Garment bag

Do most cruisers carry on the garment bag or check it with luggage?

last aug. was my first cruise and I'd checked it with my luggage. in 14 days will be my 2nd cruise and I will put it in with my luggage again

It depends on what you are referring to as a garment bag.

I always carry a garment bag that holds my suit and/or tuxedo, my wife's dresses and dress shirts and pants. This item I always check.

If it is just the vinyl type of garment bag that holds a single dress or suit, with the hanger sticking out, I would carry it.

most standard garment bags are to large to fit thru the scanners to carry them on. We check ours at the pier.
