My wife and I enjoy ballroom dancing and are thinking about the Nooradam's Sep 2006 Big Band cruise from Rome to New York. But, we are not sure whether this cruise is for dancing or listening to Big Band music.
A careful look at the Nooradam's floor plan shows no dance floors - none! Neither the Ocean Bar nor the Crow's Nest appear to have the usual small dance floor. The Queen's Lounge looks like it has a decent space but I don't know if they use this space for dancing. A note to HAL brought the respones "on theme cruises like this they use various venues around the ship like the Lido Deck and the Crow's Nest".
So, is the Holland America "Big Band" cruise primarily a listening experience or do they make an effort to accomodate ballroom dancing?
