Waitlist status

Hi Everyone,

My husband & I are currently on a waitlist for the 29 day Australia/So Pacific
cruise on the Sapphire Princess, departing Sydney April 17, 2007. Does anyone know how we find out our current status? We were 275th when we signed up. So we don't hold out too much hope.

Also, we thought we were keeping a close watch on when the booking for this particular cruise began, but somehow we still missed the boat (no pun intended) getting our reservation on time. Is there some way to make sure that we don't make the same mistake the next time around?

Just a guess here, but I would think that around final payment time, you'd have a good idea if you were a go or not. Sorry, thats a long wait yet, but I wouldn't book and air tickets until you find out, good luck.

I cannot believe that this ship is totally booked. I wonder if Princess is in process of schedule change so they blocked entire ship. I would keep on phone to TA weekly for status. Or, you can just go to Princess website and try to do a booking and see availability.
