Default Ultimate Balcony Dining

Has anyone ever enjoyed the ultimate balcony dining? Did you believe it was worth the extra money? Also, is it a seperate menu from the restaurants and finally if we were interested would it be wise to book it as soon as we board?

Thx for any advice.

Brewster

I haven't done it, but read a review from someone who had and they said it was worth every penny. As I recall the cost was about $100.00. I'm not sure if the review was on this site or another one. Sorry.

Thank you Darcy. I am considering it because it would seem to be an elegant and memorable dining experience, but on the other hand, our adventure is proving so expensive I wonder about the rational of spending an additional $100 when we could be served the same menu for free in the dining room. My girlfriend seems to have her heart set on it but perhaps we could meet in compromise and enjoy the balcony breakfast which I believe is half the price. We had already agreed that we were not going to pinch pennies on this wonderful trip but I'm torn by the question if this is too much of an extravagence. Thx again for the info. I will have to mull this further.

When DH and I sailed on the Miracle we didn't plan to have dinner in the supper club as it was an extra $25/pp and we really like the food in the dining room. Well, we decided to splurge and do it and we were very glad we did. It was one of the best meals we've ever had. We did it toward the end of the cruise and would have eaten there another night, but there were no more reservations left. Our meal in a local restaurant would have easily run $150+. If its something you're interested in and feel like splurging I would go ahead and try it.

That's not a bad idea venice and if she thought I exhibited even one of the attributes you mentioned, I cannot imagine not coming out ahead on the deal.
