Yes, the Regal Princess does have self service laundrettes on each passenger deck.....and they do have ironing boards and irons.

Thanks for the info - do you know if you can take them to your room or do you have to use them in the laundry facility?

Thanks

No, you can't use them in your cabin, you have to go to the self serve laundry and use them there.

Since they are attached to the wall, you must use them in the self service laundrette. If you really feel the need to do some ironing, take along a portable travel steamer or Downy Wrinkle Release. Both work wonders.

Irons are strictly prohibited on board as nothing scares the crew of a passenger ship more than a fire. Consider a steamer or sending you clothes to the ships laundry instead.

BK - Doug beat me to the answer on that one. Travel irons are a huge no, no on cruise ships, they are not allowed they are a very high fire hazzard.
I have used the irons on Princess they are decent quality and work pretty well, i just usually do a quick press of DH's dress shirts. I will hang things in the shower and turn on the water full hot, shut the bathroom door and steam out the wrinkles - this works very well.

Great information - again as usual! Everyone is always so helpful!

I will check out one of those clothes steamers and also try the shower idea.

I don't want to break any rules - and I DON'T want to start any fires!!! It took me so long to figure out what to wear on formal night that I'm not going to do anything that could mess up this trip!!
