I booked our 5/12/07 Carnival glroy cruise thru Cruisevacationoutlet.com, they advertise on Cruisemates.
Does anyone have any experience with them?
Each time I have e:mailed the agent I booked with, he has gotten back to me immediately, and one time I decieded to call and I got his voicemail, he called me back within 5 min. He was very helpful, and I was going back and fourth between 2 ships, and 2 different travel dates. He was very patient, answered every question, and provided me with several quotes before I decided.

It is funny that you used CruiseVacationOutlet to book your 5/12/07 cruise on the Glory. We are also booked on that same cruise and used them to book our cruise. We have also booked several previous cruises with them in the past.
The only negative I have is that several times when I have tried to call or email my agent the response is that she is out cruising What nerve she has! Of course, someone else has always answered our question or resolved our issue.
Am cruising with 3 of my grown kids (20, 25, 29), wife, daughters girlfriend and her parents.
I will be the bald old guy in the casino playing craps most of the time
It is far away, but luckily, we (wife and I) are booked on the Miracle for Mar 4 , so it is not too far. Besides, my daughter has been planning this for over a year now. This will also be our third time on the Glory (Aug 2005 - Western, May 2006 - Eastern and May 2007 - Eastern).
I only have had two negative experiences on the Glory (losses in the casino don't count)
The first negative experience was on our first cruise (Aug 05) and it was the day of the Chocolate Buffet. I decided I would eat a regular lunch in the Red Sail and then come back later for the Chocolate Buffet. I did not realize it closed at 2:30 PM, so I missed it. I did not make the same mistake on our May 06 cruise.
The second negative experience was realizing that they no longer had Flourless Chocolate Cake on the dessert menu. Beeing extremely disappointed and already composing my nasty letter to Bob Dickinson in my head, I decided to try something called "Bittersweet Chocolate Melting Cake". Lo and behold it is really the Flourless Chocolate Cake with a new name! Definitely all's well, that end's well.
We are really pleased with the Glory and look forward to cruising on it again in May. After that cruise, the Glory will be tied for second place on most cruises )3_ on one ship with the Fantasy. For some reason, the Ecstasy is in first place with 4.
I have found them to be slow to respond to my emails(usually two days or so to respond) reguarding cruises I have booked with them. Not really impressed with the customer servive issues. Prices usually are better than many online agents.
