Default Recommendations for shuttle from FLL to Port of Miami

Can someone recommend a shuttle service (Email or tele.) to use between FLL and Port of Miami? Is is cheaper to use a cab (of which I believe it's about $60 plus tip). -- Thank you.

Oceania does not provide shuttle services between FLL and Port of Miami.

A taxi would be an expensive way to go. Check out Super Shuttle.

There are shuttle services such as Super Shuttle but I'm not sure if they serve the actual airport: You can check them out at

Super Shuttle Miami

There are also many limo services available but they will run you about the same or a bit more than a taxi. You can use Google to find them.

There is also a train between Fort Lauderdale and Miami airports that is very inexpensive but you will have to lug your own baggage and then get a $20 taxi from Miami airport to the port or hotel. Not a great alternative IMO. You can check out the train at:

FLL Train Info

One thing to remember in using shuttle services is that the lower price is appealing if there is one person. $25 is great price for one person but when there are two it is not that great. For two people the total will be $50 and you may have to wait for others to be dropped off first and also wait on their schedule, not yours. I personally prefer to pay the additional $10 and be on my own time and take the taxi. That is my own preference and others may have other priorities.

Take care,
Mike

It depends on how many people you have. A taxi is about $70 (it is a long ride), but super shuttle for four people could cost more.

There are many limousines that will do it for about $50. I hear there is a rail system, but I have never heard of anyone using it.

The rail system is probably not even an option. Designed for business commuters, doubt it goes anywhere near the port. Plus, it is elevated and you would have to haul luggage up and down long flights of stairs.
