Default Embarkation on Pride

I need some sage advice over here. We are sailing on Pride on Jan 28.We will fly from Detroit to LAX on the 26th so we'll be there in lots of time. In your collective experience what would be the best time to arrive at the port to embark. We will be staying at the Westin in Long Beach ,which is ,I think, close by. Not too early to avoid a long wait and of course not too late. Any advice would be appreciated.

Usually around noon is a good time to arrive at the pier. You can still board fairly early, get onboard and have a buffet lunch. You may not be able to actually go to your cabin until 1:00, but you will only have your carry-on with you.

Thanx Donna. Sounds like a plan.

It's a nice place to "stand in line". One of you can hold the spot while the other browses the shops at the pier. Great souvenir finds .
