Default Requesting a cabin

We're going to be sailing on RCL's Mariner of the Seas. For this ship, is it best to be in the front of the boat, middle or in the back?

If you are prone to sea sickness, better to be located mid-ship. I've been getting aft balcony cabins and those also seem fine. I'd keep a bit away from the bow area, had one closer to there once and could feel quite a bit.

my personal preference on just about any cruise is a mid-ships, mid-deck cabin location.

Thanks for advice. I don't get seasick, but my wife sometimes does.
