Default LEGAL AGE TO CRUISE

what cruise line can a 19 yr old be in the same cabin as a 22 yr old. I have read that some allow a parent to send a notarized permission letter, which ones????? this is meaning that NO parent will be along on the cruise.

It is my understanding that at least one person has to be 21 years old.Call a local travel agent and ask them.

Princess and NCL did allow those over 18 to book their own cabins.

Whether this is current information I'm not sure, as it's something I haven't checked on for quite some time. I've never heard of a letter giving authority to cruise doing any good, except in the case of a child going with other adults.

You'd be best off dealing with a travel agent for your booking, but MAKE SURE to tell them your age and the age of your travel companion. Failure to do so could result in you being denied boarding at the pier.

Only Princess and Disney will allow that, and everyone in the cabin has to be 18 or older.
