Default Upper beds

I accidentally booked a cabin on Carnival Imagination with upper beds. Is this going to be uncomfortable or unwieldy for 2 adults?

Hi yoisho,

Welcome to Cruisemates!

I think what you've booked is a cabin that can sleep four people. Two people in the twin/queen configuration and two more people in the upper bunks.

If you'll tell us what ship and the cabin # we can give you more help.

No you won't even know the extra beds are there, as they only pull them down/out if you intend to use them.

One time and one time only I did travel with 3 others in a cabin with the upper beds. I bellieve there is a weight limit of 250 lbs.

They are folded back up by the crew during the day. My sister-in-law and daughter said they were comfortble.

Their major complaint - when you have been out partying kinda hard - it's challenging climbing the ladder to get to bed.

My overall complaint - two small of a cabin for 4 women to share - I'll stick to solo or one other person.

Then again, if I could afford a suite, it probably wouldn't be a problem.

Mary
