Default French side-St Maarten

Can anyone tell me the best way to get to the French side? What should not be missed? Is it difficult to get back to the port? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all. Denny

I love renting a Jeep in St. Mart.

Easy to get around. Though there's plenty of traffic, there's really one main road around the island, and the island isn't that big (if you drove it non stop you'd be around in about an hour or so).

With your own vehicle you can visit Marigot, on the French Side, and stop at a couple of beaches as well. The vehicle makes your time there your own.
