I really don't see a topic for posting this so I'll try here.
While on the hook in Belize there was another ship anchored about two hundred yards away.
The stern of the ship had an additional 3 decks of cabins way above the main deck. Picture two columns on each side extending about, I don't know, 40 feet up and then 3 decks running port to starboard.
Kinda like the ground effects tee ya see on the trunk of imports.
There was also a covered walk way type hall that led to this area from the stack.
I'm sorry, but this is hard to describe.
My wife and I became very intrigued and would love to cruise in one of those cabins.
I hope someone can help me identify the ship/line.
I have tried surfing web sites with no luck.
Peace through superior firepower.
ah the cruise ship with the "wing"
I think you are describing one of the princess cruise ships
my guess it was the carribean princesss (image below) and but they also have the star princess, grand princess and golden princess that have the detail you described; hope this helps

Rinker, I looked back to mid February for a few weeks and the Sun docked with RCCL Enchantment of the Seas.
About a year and a half ago they stretched it and added a new midsection along with a walkway area on each side. We sailed her shortly after that. I really enjoyed the ship. It has beautiful pool areas.
If you really want to know more about her, ask Dave the Wave. He is a frequent cruiser on the Enchantment.
