Default Aloha deck

I have a cabin on the Aloha deck and was wondering if you can get to the Terrace pool from that deck.

Based on your previous posts, I am assuming you are referring to the Golden Princess.

The Terrace Pool is at the aft end of the Aloha deck. Therefore you would be able to get to the Terrace Pool without changing decks.

If you are not referring to the Golden Princess you may want to specify the ship name you are sailing.

Take care,
Mike

Yes you can get to the terrace pool and you will not have to leave the deck you are on to get to it. Good luck and have fun.

When I called Princess Cruise and asked about the Golden Princess Aloha deck they told me I had to go up one deck to the bar and then back down the steps to get to the pool. How do you get directly to the pool if there are no doors directly to it? Is there a secret exit no one knows about?

I don't know about this particular ship, but it is not uncommon to have to take a path on the ship that is not direct. Nestled in between passenger areas are ship's facilities and support areas. Modern ships are better about this, but even so some require navigation skills just to get around the ship's interior.

The original Grand Class ships: Golden and Grand Princess were known for corridors and decks that went nowhere. This may be one of those instances. On closer examination of the deck plans it does look like there is no "door", other than what appears to be a service stair, to the pool so the rep may be correct. You may just have to sail and report back.

Take care,
Mike

Yes, you CAN access the Terrace Pool from the aft of Aloha Deck. I've booked cabins on Princess ships twice at the aft of Aloha deck just for that reason. There is a door at the end of Aloha deck - you exit that door, go up about 5 steps and you are right at the pool. Go up another few steps and you are at the back of the Horizon Court and the bar.
