Default A new forum

With all the discussion regarding passports, do you think it would be beneficial to have a forum (under Practical Advice) just for information regarding passports? Perhaps have one of the staff members responsible for keeping up with the ever-changing regulations regarding their use/requirements. Obviously I have too much time on my hands.

Darlene--

The frustrating thing about this site to me has always been that they refuse to put up an FAQ section, which would answer basic questions clearly and accurately up front.

The thing about passport questions (and dress codes, and, and. . .) is that there are actually very few questions about each subject--they just keep getting asked over and over. FAQ's would answer a lot of the questions that are posted now, and if people still asked them, they could be pointed to the FAQ's.

Where the basic questions have simple, factual answers, I think FAQ's are much more sensible than setting up new forums.

It would be a full time job for the staff member, because the rules change every day for passports.

I agree, until the rules are in place regarding passports and they are being enforced it would be difficult to have a forum thread dedicated to just that. I think that once the rules are being complied with that it then would be a great idea.

That makes sense.
