Default carry on toiletries

I just read you website and it reads like the curise lines have the same policies on shampoo, mouthwash, etc. as the airlines. People on some message boards say no they don't.. Which is it??

You can bring on toiletries and a "reasonable" amount of nonalcoholic drinks. We had no problem last month when we cruised brining anything on. Carla

Cruise ships do not abide by the same restrictions as the airline security does.
You can bring on family economy size toothpaste, shampoos, mouth washes or whatever toiletries you like.

Listen to the Moose (Kuki). You can bring your own toiletries. You may be confused with the new restrictions on "smuggling" booze on board in mouthwash and shampoo containers.

Soaps, shampoo and conditioners are supplied in the rooms but you may bring your own.

Take care,
Mike

You can bring any size you wish as long as the large bottles are packed in your checked luggage. The airlines are still sticking to the qt. size bag for
tolietries in your carry-on. Don't forget this is "Per Person" so if you are
bringing lots of stuff - make sure each person in your party has their own
baggie in their own carry-on. The rule about perscriptions is a big pain in the A-- as far as I am concerned. My husband takes about 16 different
meds and we had to carry all the individual perscription bottles as well as
written scripts and letters from the Dr. and Pharmacy as to why he had
to carry syringes (Diabetic). No one checked us leaving the states but went through our carry-ons with a fine tooth comb on the way home from
Ft.Lauderdale to buffalo. Go figures!!!
