Default Light weight portable stool

We will be on the Carnival Freedom for BTB from Rome Oct. 16, 2007 for a 12 day Grand Mediterranean Cruise, then 14 day TA to Miami. We want to take in all the sites. However, my husband has a problem of not being able to keep going without stopping to sit down and rest. I recall seeing a post some time back about a light weight, portable 3 legged stool. If anyone has information where we can purchase these, I would greately appreciate it.
Thanks for your help.

Your upcoming cruise sounds wonderful! I googled "portable stool" and a lot of hits came up. Here is one site you may want to check out:

Also, we have an RV and have seen a folding stool at Camping World, so you may try them, as well.

Good luck!

I have one I got from Magellan's, and I never travel without it. It converts from a cane to a 3 legged stool, costs under $30 and is very light weight. The only thing is that you must remember to straddle it when you sit down. It was not designed to sit on with the handle in back. Found that out the hard way by slowly falling over sideways. Luckily, hubby caught me, but I felt like I was in an old comedy/horror movie.

Default Thanks

Thanks to all of you who answered about a lightweight portable stool. The one from Magellan's looks perfect.
Thanks again.

My friend is a golfer and brought her fold-up portable stool on our last cruise. She purchased it at Sports Authority for $8.99.

If your Sports Authority doesn't carry it, it is available on their web site.
