SEASICK WRIST BANDS

I WAS READING ABOUT BEING SEASICK AND WEARING WRIST BANDS. I ONLY KNOW OF ONE TYPE. THESE LOOK LIKE WRIST SWEAT BANDS WITH A SMALL WHITE BEAD ON THEM. THEY APPLY PRESURE ON THE WRIST. WHAT IS THE OTHER TYPE I AM READING ABOUT? WHERE ARE THEY PURCHASED AND HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?

THANK YOU

The other type is known as the Relief Band. You get one band, which you wear on the approximate same spot as the sweat band type, but they send out an electrical pulse to the nerves to disrupt the sick feeling. It is generally sold for around $100 (sometimes more) at Sharper Image and pilot (boatsman?) supply shops. I got mine on sale last summer.

Thank you for the information. I found the regular ones at Target for $8.00. This is our 5th cruise and I have never had problems.. We are going with a group of 33 and I want them to be prepared just in case. This is a first time for some of them.
