Can you take pepsi on board the ship?

This is something new for us. The last time we cruised we were able to take Pepsi on the ship. Carnival only serves Coke. We bought it on one of the ports and just carried it on with us. I did read that it will be taken if we do this. Is this true? We will be on Carnival's Valor.

i recently read on carnival's site that they "will" allow small amounts of soda and water. so my guess is yes, you can still bring it, but i'm just going by what their site says which should be true. maybe someone else here has a personal experience since all the changes. we are planning on taking Pepsi with us on our first cruise next month on the miracle.

Carnival did change its policy, and then changed it back again. Now you CAN bring the pepsi. Just make sure it is in sealed containers.

THAT IS GOOD TO KNOW THAT THEY CHANGED THEIR POLICY ABOUT BRINGING IT ON BOARD. IS THERE A LIMIT?

Even though they sell Coke, can we take our own so we don't have to pay astonomical prices for it?.. and our own bottled water as well?

We are going to ty to take Pepsi on board. We are hoping to get into Miami early to look for a store that sells it, so we don't have to drag it from home and on the plane. Not a case, just a few 2 liters.

We always take a 12 pack of Pepsi and water with no problems. A 2 liter bottle would not fit in the small refrigerators, maybe a smaller size would do.

I didn't think about the fridges in the cabin... :o

We have taken 2 liter bottles, that was before fridges though. We used ice and drank flat Pepsi some of the time...OR we drank a lot...

I see no problem with drinking a lot....

I had my TA call RCCL prior to our Alaska cruise (Serenade of the Seas) and our answer was yes, since RCCL does Coke products, you can bring on Pepsi.
