there no Cruisemates store to purchase things. We advertise Carnival, and different Travel agents with stuff, but not CM

When I first started on CM's (unless I've completely lost my mind

!) there was a store with hats, T-shirts and posters, etc.. Where it went...?

We had T shirts for sale a couple of years back, but demand must not been there.

The cost for printing in that many colors will be high. You end up paying per ink color and each shade of blue is considered a color

Kuki how about having a contest to see if someone can come up with a special cruise Mates Logo to be used especially for your merchandise?

Of course the logo will become the property of Cruise Mates dot Com . I'm sure some of our chatters out there are talented enough to come up with something that we will are be proud to wear. The prize can be something as simple as an on-board credit (with free CM Merchandise) on their next cruise.

Cruisemates did go into the "logo wear" business for awhile. While there were a large number of requests there were not a large enough number of purchases to keep the store open or add additional items.

A number of people want a number of different items, styles and colors and logos and it is very hard and expensive to satisfy those needs. It is also very hard to do the back office functions to handle the sales and fulfillment side. The idea is great but the execution is complex and expensive.

Perhaps now that we are more than twice the size we were at that time it may be worth looking into but it isn't something that can be guaranteed. It's the owner's call.

Mike is right. We had many people asking for T-shirts, etc. so we went into the business of selling them. Once it was a reality, the interest just wasn't there.

I think this should be done for those in the CM Group Cruises.

I was thinking of making up T shirts for Liz and I so that when we are walking around Miami the night before, on the ship or excursions, others in the group would know us.

Maybe CM could strike a deal with a marketing firm JUST for the CM groupers .

We've done group T shirts for most of the larger CM group cruises.... I know, I have quite a collection of them

I was lucky enough to be on a CM group cruise - the Panamaniacs - on the Island Princess hosted by Mike and Betty ... probably the smallest group cruise ever. Nevertheless, I got a nifty T-shirt with the logo and another one that also included my name. Wear the first one over my swimsuit when I go in my pool cuz I'm too fair skinned. Nice reminder of a great time with 2 special people!

I'd be interested in CM logo stuff. I have a CM Cruise of the Century T-shirt, and one of the original CM T-shirts, but I would love to have something like a mousepad, or a cap, or a mug, and especially a bumper sticker that says: "I'd Rather be Cruising"!!

When I first found Cruise Mates I wondered if there were some cruise t-shirts or caps to buy........ since I didn't find any, I searched around for Cruise t-shirts and found some to buy on the web.

The place I bought them from also made mousepads, coffee cups, magnets, coasters, 4 x 4 inch tiles with a picture uploaded to them from your computer....

I had some Christmas pictures made into mousepads, and the tiles, magnets and coasters for Christmas gifts this year.. I just got them in the mail, and they look great. Very reasonably priced and you can just order one, you don't have to buy 100 or more, like some want you to.

The t-shirts I bought were "okay" not a high quality material, but okay for having fun! and their sizes run SMALL.

I guess you could make a logo that was available for people to download to their pictures folder and they could get their own shirts made ... (?)

I would put the name of the website, but since I'm a newbie around here, I don't wanna get it big dawg trouble

I don't know if that is something that is allowed.

But, I'm sure there are several websites that do that same thing.
