Default Beauty Salons!!!

Ahoy,

I need your help. I cannot for the life of me get information regarding how expensive the beauty salon is on Mariner of the Seas or how I made an appointment. Do I wait until I get on the ship and then run for the salon?????

Please someone, give me your help!

Thanks
Diane

I have no idea of the price... but you can only book it once you're on the ship.

I wouldnt say there's a huge rush to get it done, but once on the ship head up to the spa, and choose your date and time.

Hi Diane,
Kuki is right once you get on board ship you can book a salon service. The cost depends on the service. If you are planning to have your hair styled for Formal Night (Up do). Then the cost depends on hair length and how complex the style is. If it is an "up do" then find pictures of the style you want go into the salon on board and ask the cost before you book. Hope that helps.

Default Thank You!

Thank you so much to Kuki abd Katlady for your information.

Cruising and cruise ships are great, but they do not make getting any information easy - that I can say with certainty.

Also, make your readers aware of something - for Vow Renewals - although RCCL advertises the price as $400.00, it is actually $895.00 when all is said and done. $695.00 plus $100.00 extra for May, June, September or October and $100.00 extra because it is the Mariner.

Caveat Emptor! Bob and I decided to renew our vows on the beach.
Simply could not justify $900.00!

Take care

64 days until Mariner!

Diane

Sounds like a nice trip. Thanks for the info on renewing vows. I have thought about it myself.

Hello....I have spa prices for the Navigator of the Seas from this year.

Follow the link...scroll down to the bottom of the page. Please be aware that these prices were for our particular cruise and may not be the same for your cruise, but hopefully they may serve as a guideline.
Hope this helps you.....

Actually, the vow renewal is $400 if you are a C&A member, it is performed onboard, and not in the months previously mentioned. Otherwise, as long as it is onboard, it is $500 due to a $100 premium for first time cruisers on Royal Caribbean, certain ships (Voyager class and above) or for the months mentioned. Only one premium is charged, so my husband and I will pay $500 for an onboard vow renewal in September which is also our first RCI cruise. We just booked & paid for this last week.

The higher prices previously posted were for renewals performed by the ship but on the island and not on the ship.

i have always made my salon appointments when i get aboard. Its one of the first things i do after i drop my stuff in my stateroom. Formal nights fill up fast. I have medium length hair not long enough for an updo, but long enough for a style with curling iron or rollers, it cost me $35.00 last cruise for a wash/blowdry and style with curling iron.
