Default How do you fit 4 people in a 4 berth cabin - NCL Spirit

Hi could anyone tell me what the bed set up in a 4 berth inside cabin is. The ship is the Norweign Spirit. From the pictures they seem to have two lower beds and one the opens from the wall to make a bunk. Where does the other bed come from? and where does it fit.

I can't really make sense of the description it says "2 convertible beds (I figure these are the lower ones), pullman bed (figure this must the higher one that makes a bunk) and a pullout bed. Where does this come from and what space does it end up in. There doesn't seem to be much floor space for another bed in the cabin.

On most ships there will either be bunks on the side of the wall, pop out from a headboard over the bed or pop down from the ceiling.

The pop down beds and the head board beds are hard to see.

The least enjoyable but very possible option is that there could be a convertible sofa or love seat that pulls out into a bed.

If the stateroom is stated as four berths you will have four separate beds in the room. No matter what, it's going to be tight spaces when all beds are lowered or pulled out.

Take care,
Mike

Very tightly!

I don't think, in fact, I know that I couldn't do 4 people in a cabin. There's only 1 bathroom , which is a problem right off the bat. Where do 4 people store their luggage and all their belongings for a week?

I'd only do if there was absolutely no way I could swing a cruise unless I split the cabin cost 4 ways.

I'm concerned about doing 3 in an RCI OV on the Navigator, because I've had suites before. Can's afford one this time, so am going with hubby and our fourteen year old daughter. I'm hoping that since we're family, it won't be so uncomfortable, but I'm kind of apprehensive; especially about storage. It's a done deal, so I don't know why I'm asking, but just want to be prepared or maybe get some tips as to how we can still enjoy in spite of smaller accomodations that what we're used to. The plus is that we've not been on a ship this new yet.

The cabin steward will take and stow the luggage for you. Or you could use one suitcase as a "drawer", leaving it open and storing it under the bed.

Schedule showers/getting ready. Have one or two people get ready a little early, and leave the cabin, then trade spaces with the second pair.

It can be done!

Thanks for the advice. I booked some nice shore excursions with the money I saved by getting a standard OV cabin, and am planning on keeping us busy so we won't have time to be in our little cabin except to sleep and get ready.

On our past two cruises, I've felt guilty doing excursions because I spent so much money on our room accomodations, so we'll see how it works doing it this way!
