Default waterproof/underwater camera bags??

Has anyone tried or heard anything good or bad about the soft case waterproof camera bags? Apparently they protect your camera from sand, water etc. You can even take under water pics. Has anyone tried these??
Here's the site i was looking at http://www.thewaterproofstore.com/obcameracase.html

We have a lot of water related shore excursions and i was just wondering if this was a good buy

Default I had the same question

I had the same question and I asked the owner of a local dive shop in my area. What he told me was that he trusted them he would sell them. He doesn't sell them. He said that with thoes all it takes is a pin hole leak and your camera is toast. So I personaly am going to spend the money and get one of the waterproof housing from the camera manufacture. I hope this helps.

Default thx

Thanks for your input. I think i will invest in a manufacturer waterproof housing. I have to buy a new camera anyways so i might aswell buy them both together. I guess it's something that you'll have forever once you buy it.
