Default Papeete to Honolulu - Airports - Princess Cruise

I have been looking at the princess cruise that departs from Hawaii and ends in Papeete (Tahiti).

Can someone tell me how to search for flights from Papeete to Honolulu or someone of the airlines that would fly from a airport near Papeete? Thanks, Carla

Much to my surprise, there doesn't seem to be a lot of flights from Honolulu to Papeete.... they seem to route through Los Angeles.... maybe the cruise line or your travel agent can be more helpful arranging a 'circle-trip', rather than 'round-trip' in and out of Honolulu... good luck!

If you are flying from Michigan, it would be best to fly DTW - HNL outbound and PPT DTW on the return. I couldn't find a PPT HNL direct flight; just flights via LAX.

I know that for our curise out of Papeete it was amusing that the Hawaiians had to fly back to the US to catch the ship.

We are cruising the Tahitian Princess in Feb 2008 and our flights are on Hawaiian Air through Honolulu to Papeete. Hawaiian is probably the only option for that routing and they only fly the route once a week. HNL to PPT is a Saturday afternoon/evening flight and PPT to HNL is Sunday at 1:30 a.m. arriving HNL about 6 am.
