Default Help for new cruiser

6 of us will be taking a 3 night cruise out of Port Canaveral and 3 of us will be flying into Orlando the night before and 3 early the morning of the cruise. What is the best way to get to the port and would it be better to stay overnight in Orlando or go right to Port Canaveral and stay there? Thanks for any help!!

I prefer to fly to my embarkation port the day before the cruise, and spend the night close to the pier. I would certainly do that when flying into Orlando and boarding in Port Canaveral, due to the distance between the two. As for flying into Orlando the same day as the cruise, I would check in to buying transfers from the cruise line.

I agree with Mermaid. Orlando is further away from Canaveral than you might think and traffic can be heavy. Plus, if your flight is late and you are flying in that day, let the cruise line bus transfer get you to the ship.
