Default 3rd or 4th passenger rates

Due to heartbreaking circumstances, we may have to take a 4 year old grandchild with us in Nov if we want to cruise. Do some cruise lines have specific policies in regards to a reduced price of third and fourth passengers in the same stateroom or does it just vary with the TA and their promotions? Full price for her is prohibitive at present. We won't cruise Costa or MSC.

Default Carnival

Carnival goes give discount rates for 3th and 4th person. It is a percentage of the current rate when you add the extra person. Carla

Clarification: we are really only interested in Celebrity cruises, and possibly RCCL, therefore only one company. Do they ever offer sales on 3rd or 4th pax? Are there some cruise TA's that make this offer more frequently?

My wife and I are sailing on the Explorer of the seas on Nov 4,2007.We have received a senior rate of $629 pp and our granddaughters age 11 and 9 in the same room are $399 each. The normal rate was $729 and $399.
Last year we sailed on the Adventure of the seas out of purto rico. When we booked the girls[3rd and fourth]were $495 but we kept watching RCCL web site and thet had a one day special for third and fourth at $149 we called RCCL and received the credit on our credit card.
I hope this helps you some.

When ever we cruised with our kids, there was always a reduced rate for 3rd and 4th passengers in the same cabin. You should have no problem finding that rate with a travel agent or directly through the cruiseline.
