Default Cruise cancellation insurance

Is there any company that sells cruise cancellation insurance only.. in other words, no medical, dental, death and dismemberment, etc. Just a simple policy covering only cruise cancellation or delay?

As far as I know, no, you'll get the whole package when you purchase travel insurance. Its a good idea to have it all, lost luggage, etc. All, in all, travel insurance is a good deal, its not that expensive and I wouldn't travle without it. Almost daily, we hear stories of things that happen and the traveler didn't have any, why take that chance?

Just calculate that the low price you are paying, gets you the cancellation piece of mind, you want, and all the other great options, is gravy.

This weekend, 1000's of people never made their cruises, due to all the storms, and I hoped they all had the insurance, but I knew better:(

go to www.insuremytrip.com and see if they offer it.

By the way - always buy cancellation insurance from a third party, not the cruise line. They will cover bankruptcy and other defaults more commonly than a cruise line offered policy will.
