I have only cruised once before and booked with a local travel agent. This time I decided to book online. I booked with Smartcruiser and they are not at all friendly or helpful. They took my deposit and I haven't heard from them since. Am I suppose to get something from them. I wanted to pay the cruise off early and so I called them since they wouldn't answer emails and they told me they can't do this. Anyone have any suggestions???

I would think any company would be happy to get full payment on any transaction.

I have heard of this company but do not know them. Their web site looks professional and certainly looks like they welcome phone calls. I would try to call again.
The only concern I see is that they are located in Boca Raton and MUST have the "Florida Seller of Travel" identification on their front page. They don't have it.
If you have receive NOTHING (as you state) I would be very concerned. You should be abkle to ask them the status of receving some kind of information. Did you check to see if your credit card was charged?
I see no reason why you should be able to pay off the cruise whenever you are ready to. Something about this does not add up to me.
When doingbusiness online I would ask for an email confirmation immediately. I would want to verify they got my order right for cabin category, sail date, agreed price, name of party, etc. This is all very important.
It doesn't sound like a travel agency I would use again. Please send me a PM, I have a question for you.
