We are planning a Oct. 4 cruise on Jewel of the Seas from Boston to Halifax and back, but there are few rooms left and most are in the bow area. What kind of sea conditions might we expect? Are there any tips to upgrading if other rooms become available? Thanks.

While I have never had an room at the bow, I do know, that in rough seas, you feel it first, Many cruisers love the experience, but if you are doubtful, and you say there are other cabins available, select one of those.

Thanks for the info. We just booked a room back a little from the bow. It'll have to do. Thanks.
