Definitely can't bring them in your carry on luggage on the plane from Barcelona from US.

Why wouldn't you just leave the soda in your cabin. Your room steward would be more than happy to have it to share with friends. Has to be sealed of course.

Why on earth would you want to bring home bottles of soda anyway?? If
you plan ahead and can gauge how much you drink per day - just buy that amount. Keep a sealed bottle for the plane ride home, if you want.
Crazy idea IMO.

does it matter whether they are full oR not?? Drink the soda and ship the empty cans home in a box or check them with the rest of your luggage.
EMPTY THAT IS!

Everyone collects something. I used to keep some odd items, but when I moved I tossed most of them out! If you are sure you want to bring them back I suggest packing it well in bubble wrap and a ziplock bag, or bubblewrapped in a shoebox or container that will keep it from being crushed by those lovely baggage handlers that live to toss our bags around as much as possible!!!!!!

Hi Wil,
I would just purchase enough that you can consume and just leave any extra's in your cabin. Its not worth packing in your checked luggage to lug home.

When my kids went to Germany some of their classmates tried to bring soda home in their suitcases...it froze while under the plane, burst and ruined much of what was in their suitcase as well as their suitcase. I think I would bring home empties.
