deck 7 royal carribean

just booked a cruise on serenade of the seas.i'm seeing reviews that the lifeboats are an obstruction from the balcony on deck 7. need advice

Which cabin did you book? If you go to their website and look at the deck plan it states the following:

Please note: Staterooms 9252 & 9652 have partially obstructed views.
Please note: Staterooms 8162,8164, 8662 & 8664 have partially obstructed views.

I was on deck 7 (7570) on the Jewel of the Seas (sister ship to the Serenade). The only obstruction to the view is that the covers for the lifeboats prevent you from looking directly down to the ocean. You can look out and to either side without any obstruction at all. I hope this picture works! This obstruction is also seen on decks 8, 9 and 10 UNLESS you are in a hump cabin.....then there is nothing blocking your view down to the ocean.
