Husband and I want a 2nd honeymoon before baby arrives!

Our honeymoon was a bit of a bust and we figure this is our last chance for a re-do! We thought a cruise might be ideal, since there won't be a ton of walking involved and we could pick and choose shore excursions.

Would love input on destinations/cruise lines given the fact that comfort, great food and minimally stressful shore excursions are a must.

We live in LA and would rather not do another cruise to Mexico. Also, will probably both only be granted about a week off of work.

Check out the Conquest, from Galveston, if you prefer not to fly to the east coast, this will do the western Caribbean. But, if you do, check out the larger RCI ships, like the Freedom, Liberty or Navigator, etc..these ships offer you the world of things to do, or the chance to do nothing but veg...Beautiful promenades with parades,rock wall, flow rider...ice shows, and on top of that some of the prettiest ships at sea.. Good research will narrow your choices....

Hope my comment doesn't rain on your parade, but be sure to check with the cruiselines as to what their policy is before you book. Many don't allow a pregnant traveller past 20 something weeks.

I hope you get to take that cruise!

The big RCi ship does not arrive in Galveston until Dec but Liberty and Freedom are year round in Miami. Since you will have to fly anyway, what about Adventure out of San Juan for Southern Caribbean. Its a really nice run and the ship is great!

I would not suggest going for one of the larger ships. There can be a great deal of walking involved just getting around those ships. A smaller one might be easier for you to handle.
Also, do check with the cruise line re. your pregnancy. I would hate to see you fly somewhere. then be denied boarding. And, having lived in L.A. for a long time, the Maxican riviera is pretty much all that is available out there. Just not many islands off that coast. What about Hawaii?
