Hi: Booked online (first time) with this agency which I contacted through the www.cruisecomplete.com
website. The agent was very sweet and all honey while I was making my reservation and payment in full. However,
now she is very resistant to my occasional requests for info/paperwork
that I need for this trip. I realize that I am part of her "group space" on this cruise - and as such, can't really take advantage of the resident/senior rates that RCCL has recently made available without the
loss of my original cabin and OBC's which she is suppose to be extending to me.
What is making me very, very nervous is that when I access their webpage - there is no mention of RCCL, Celebrity or Azamara cruises
any longer. Even when I try to submit a specific request for one of the
above mention cruise lines - I hit a brick wall.
Does this mean that my TA no longer is selling RCCL cruises??? And
will this jeopardize my cruise next January,'09?? I do have invoices
from my cc companies showing the original deposit being paid to RCCL
but the balance was paid to the travel agency. I would think this was done
as my payment was made in June and the agency is not required to pay
RCCL for my cabin until October 24th.
IF this agency is no longer associated with RCCL - where does that leave
me?? Will I still receive my cruise documents?? what about my OBC's
they promised me?? I contacted the CEO of www.cruisecomplete.com
about my concerns and all he saild was "Not to Worry !!" - (I think they
are personal friends, though, so I really don't feel all that confident
that he is telling me the truth).
Plus I am afraid to call my travel agent directly - for fear of receiving
WELL, i AM !!!! WORRRIED !!!
